What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on a computer, phone or tablet. Similar technologies can remember preferences or enable services embedded within a webpage.
Necessary website functions
WordPress may use strictly necessary cookies for website security, administration and logged-in user sessions. These functions cannot be disabled through the optional-cookie control because the website may not work correctly without them.
Cookie preferences
BALLOON uses CookieYes to display the consent banner, remember the visitor’s choices and provide a way to change or withdraw consent. Optional categories should remain disabled unless the visitor actively accepts them.
YouTube videos
BALLOON videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedding domain. The embedded player is treated as external media and should remain blocked until the visitor permits the relevant optional category. A direct YouTube link is also provided for each video.
Analytics and advertising
The BALLOON test website does not intentionally use first-party analytics or advertising technology. This statement must be reviewed if analytics, additional plugins or other third-party services are introduced.
Before public launch
A final scan of the configured production WordPress website must identify the cookies and similar technologies actually present, including their provider, purpose and duration. The consent banner, blocked-video behaviour and consent-withdrawal control must then be tested in a fresh browser session.
